Details of the BBW Exploding Box...

Here are those details I promised a few days ago...

The base card is white bazzill CS edged with VersaColor Turquoise ink. Use a distress ink applicator and drag some Ranger Vintage Photo Distress Ink around the outer edges of the "squares".

The blue insets are CS embossed with my Sizzix Big Shot and ProvoCraft Divine Swirls, Happy Birthday, Swiss Dots and Numbers embossing folders. Two of the insets are coloured by dragging a Brilliance Coffee Bean ink pad over the embossed card, and the other two with VersaColor Turquoise ink.

The butterflies are ProvoCraft Cut & Emboss Butterfly, embossed with Spots 'n Dots embossing folder and inked with either the Brilliance Coffee Bean ink or VersaColor Turquoise ink. They are attached to the ribbons with glue dots and decorated with strips of bijoux and pearls.

One more small ProvoCraft butterfly die, a Hero Arts flower and the inside of the box is done.

The outside of each panel of the box was also decorated with a butterfly and stamped with Hero Arts Flourishes and Inkadinkado Spots. The box lid is embellished with wonderful rich chocolate brown ribbon and strings of tiny flat pearls.
