A STOMPing thank you...

A late call from the Editor of The Next 48 Hours brought excitement and earplugs into our lives yesterday afternoon - when he said he had two tickets for us to attend the opening night of STOMP at the Artscape Theatre here in Cape Town.

We washed our faces, put on happy clothes and off we went, but not before making a thank you card for the Editor & his lovely wife , Naushad & Roxanne.

CS is Curious Metals White (15x15cm folded), the scrapbook paper is a double sided sheet, with the brown on the reverse of the blue pattern. The butterflies are from cut-offs of the scrapbook paper, and after cutting & embossing the first butterfly, I sanded down the embossed edges to reveal the core colour of the paper. I then applied some Blue Stickles to add some bling. The second, smaller butterfly, is from the same paper, but this time YG sanded the paper before we die cut the butterfly. It too has some Stickles for blinging purposes. Lovely brown satin ribbon completes the card. I added a third butterfly to the inside of the card, to carry the theme through.

After seeing the show I must say one thank you card was nearly enough! If STOMP is going to be near you I suggest you get your tickets now!
